Here is a rare antique original etching or engraving, depicting the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge over the River Avon in Bristol, with a ship sailing on the water below. Circa 1910. The print is unsigned and through my research, I was unable to attribute this to an artist. However, it is a very well executed etching, with fine details and there is a handwritten annotation in pencil saying “Third State pencilled”, meaning that this is the third stage of the print and has some pencil drawing as well. I also have the First State etching and Second State etching, with the same design as this print as well. So please enquire if you’re interested in those as well.
